Hardest Book I've Ever Written: Longing for Surrender - First Draft Finally Done!

That's right, the first draft of Longing for Surrender is finally done. And as the title of this post says, it was the hardest book I've ever written.

If you've kept up with my Facebook posts, you've seen me venting a few times about how emotionally intense some of the scenes were. I needed frequent - and sometimes extended - breaks from writing because this story was very draining.

I hope all that emotional turmoil makes for a great read. I believe it will. Even though it was difficult to write, I enjoyed these two and their journey together.

And although this was a tough book, I'm looking forward to making some slight revisions and adding a few extra scenes I have in mind. Then, after the editing is done, I can't wait to read the finished product, to kick back and relax and get lost in this story as a reader.

I'll be posting updates and excerpts on this blog over the next few months leading up to the book's release, which is still undetermined.
